Master Blaster Virus Removal
The master blaster virus, a generic name for the infamous Blaster, was reprogrammed by teenager Jeffrey Lee Parson as LovSan or Blaster B. Known online as teekid, Parson's worm ended up infecting around 500,000 computers and causing havoc to corporate networks worldwide.
After the FBI got a hold of Parson, he admitted to them that he had taken the original master blaster virus and re-created it as Blaster / LovSan. The damage caused by the virus - estimated at around half a million computers by Symantec Corporation - was one of the worst cyber attacks of 2003.
As with other versions of the master blaster virus, Blaster B found and exploited a flaw in Microsoft Windows software. The infected computers would then connect to Parson's website t33kid.com. Unfortunately for him he had registered the site under his real name and address which led to his demise.
